This project will add the ability to distribute mass texts to identified target lists, individual conversational texting, and will incorporate text sends as an option in existing Marketing Cloud JourneyBuilder automations. This project will be implemented at the foundational level. It is not exclusive to any single adoption pillar and available as a core platform feature set.
This foundational project aims to make logging into Salesforce services easier for all users. Implementing single sign-on through CAS/Two-step login (Duo) reduces digital credential proliferation and password neglect, increasing both security and simplicity of use.
Over the last few years, Salesforce has been working on a massive upgrade to replace their “classic” CRM interface called Lightning Experience. This new interface provides users a more modern, intuitive, and consistent experience with the CRM across platforms.
As a part of ongoing efforts to improve platform security, additional configurations and restrictions for third party app integrations will be enhanced and centrally administered.
A growing list of IU departments are extracting their Salesforce data, inactivating their separate Salesforce orgs, and transitioning to IU CRM to take advantage of no-cost adoption options, pooled data resources, and more.
This project is a collaboration between the IU CRM Initiative, CACR, and HIPAA data stewards to ensure that appropriate security and process design is in place to ensure HIPAA alignment.
