Forming the Initiative

After announcing that IU had entered into an Enterprise License Agreement with Salesforce.org to accelerate a unified IU constituent relationship management (CRM) system for all IU campuses, the IU CRM Initiative was born. The IU CRM Initiative builds on substantial momentum in the use of Salesforce in recruiting, communications, and university HR, and seeks to further expand the use and utility of Salesforce across IU.

This project involves the following:

• Project prioritization and scoping
• Establishing governance
• Communications planning
• Initiating crm.iu.edu (this website)
• Planning expanded training & resource development
• Augmenting staff
• Outreach to stakeholders and potential collaborative partners
